Position Overview

The Controller will lead the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls. This role is both strategic and hands-on, supporting leadership with financial insights while overseeing day-to-day accounting operations. Experience with fully integrated ERP systems, particularly Odoo, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, inventory accounting, and payroll
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial procedures
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams on cost accounting, inventory valuation, and margin analysis
• Optimize and maintain financial processes within Odoo ERP
• Provide financial insights and reporting to senior leadership to support strategic decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
• Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo experience is a strong asset)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team
